We want your fleece...
Most fellow alpaca breeders would be familiar with the names of Jingara and Golden Range alpacas, having been involved in the alpaca industry for over 14 years. So many breeders we have spoken to say they are frequently disappointed and frustrated with the amounts being paid for their fleeces, we are too. That’s why we searched for a better way of processing fleeces, which provides a better return for all. This has led to us establishing “THE HOUSE OF ALPACA” which buys only 100% Australian alpaca fleece clips, directly from the breeder, then processes this fleece into high quality products that we the farmers can be proud of.

Fleece Partnership...
The House of Alpaca exists to provide a fair price for fleece sellers and to develop a sustainable, high quality, Australian range of alpaca products. We are therefore looking for interested breeders to partner with us in the long term and not only enjoy a good return for their efforts but also play a role in developing the Australian industry. With our extensive research and experience we are able to offer breeders advice on how to breed for fleece fineness, reduced contamination, longer staple length, higher comfort factors and better style.
Whether you are new to the industry looking for advice or an experienced breeder who has knowledge and experience that could benefit the industry, we would like to talk to you about joining The House of Alpaca Fleece Partnership
Ultrafine Bale...
Whilst we are interested in fleeces of all grades, The House of Alpaca is particularly interested in ultrafine fleece and pays excellent prices for white and coloured fleeces below 19 microns with a special focus on high returns for fleeces below 16 microns.
